We are thrilled to announce the second Marsh Resilience Summit! Since the first Summit in 2019, Chesapeake Bay partners have invested in new conservation plans and restoration projects. Now join a mix of researchers, regulators, and practitioners as we present, discuss, and ideate on the latest science, emerging technologies, and forward policies to reach our wetland goals.
Across two days of presentations, posters, and facilitated discussion we seek to answer:
- How can we further wetland goals in the Chesapeake Bay through collaborative science?
- How can we enable conservation on private properties via policy, resources, new techniques, and other incentives?
- What actions and commitments can we make now to build capacity for plan objectives?
- How do we attract and qualify the next generation of tidal wetland stewards?
